Dear devotees,
Jai Shri Krishna and Nameste, Every Year, Diwali Celebrations at our temple is colourful and joyful. My
heartiest wishes and sincere prayers for your health, happiness and prosperity.
Our volunteers and all committee members, always work sincerely diligently and are devoted, our temple enjoys
all our festivals with great joy. One of the happinest events of our temple is, our Hon-Gen. Secretary Shree Rashmi Joshi
was elected with majority of votes as the councillor of the Belgrave area which is the heart of our Gujarati culture and businesses.
The sucess of our temple is due to the pleasent atmosphere of our religious and social functions.
With the increasing popularity of our temple, we find the space of our temple too small during religious
programmes, like Shree Krishna Jayanti, Navratri as well as social programmes. With due consideration, we have started the
Fund-Raising programme as we are in need of £700,000 for the extention of our temple. I'm pleased to announce that one of
our devotees Smt Kirtiben Shah has planned to raise the fund by organising a non-stop 24 hour sponsored walk, Sometime
in August 2006. So far we have already collected £5,000 during Navratri and hope you will help us donate as much as you
can towards our Fund-Raising programme, and how wonderful is it when children who come to the temple started donating whatever
they could from their pocket money!!
Our Community Centre is also developing together with the Gujarati School. Thanks to our teachers who worked
with them with sincere efforts. This year we have recieved substantial grants for the Community Centre for its futher development
now we can purchase more equipment forthe school. Our Bhakti Darshan is progressing with the help of many advertisers. With
heartiest thanks, we wish them a Happy Diwali and a Prosperous New Year.
May our Deities in the temple bless us all!!!
Yours Sincerely,
Shree Govindbhai .R. Patel
